Project Summary
Located in the heart of the City of Pine Lawn, the new Barack Obama Elementary School provides an exciting new development for the community of Pine Lawn and showcases the Normandy School Districts’ dedication to the future education of its students. Interior features of the 65,000 sf school include, a 2-story tall lobby and primary corridor with clerestory glass to flood the interior areas of interchange with natural light between shared areas such as the media center, gymnasium, and cafeteria. Exterior building features of the new K-6 Elementary School constructed of brick and metal panel accents; includes, amenities such as an outdoor classroom, playgrounds, and playfields.
