Project Summary
Expansion and renovation of this magnitude to an existing printing facility that runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week was similar to “changing the engine while the motor is running.” The mechanical fire suppression vacuum inserter and printing distribution systems were completely replaced. The storage capacity was expanded by 293% thus streamlining the production process. The relationship established through this successful project has continued with multiple other projects for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. This project was the recipient of St. Louis Construction News and Review’s Industrial Regional Excellence Award in 2003.
